The course is divided into 9 modules. Complete them in order, from Module 0 through Module 8. Within each module, move through the lessons sequentially. The content in early lessons is the foundation for harder material later.
Module 0 — Orientation, exam overview, and your baseline diagnostic
Modules 1–2 — ABA foundations and the RBT role (background knowledge tested throughout)
Modules 3–7 — One module per official exam domain
Module 8 — Five full practice exams and exam-day strategy
Each lesson is a written study guide: read it, take notes if that helps you, and then take the quiz at the end before moving on. Do not skip the quizzes. They are the most important part of this platform. Reading about a concept and answering exam-style questions about it are very different experiences. The quiz is where real learning happens.
Every quiz question has four answer choices (A, B, C, D), exactly like the real exam. After you submit your answer, you’ll see whether you got it right and a brief explanation of why. Read every explanation, even when you get the question correct. The explanation often contains nuance that will help you on future questions.
Quizzes are not timed. The timed experience is reserved for the Module Mastery Quizzes and the full practice exams in Module 8.
At the end of each module (Modules 1–7), there is a timed mastery quiz. These are longer quiz sets designed to simulate exam pressure within a single domain. Try to complete them in one sitting without notes.
Module 8 contains five full practice exams. These are timed, randomized, and cover all six domains. Treat them like the real thing — no notes, no pausing, no looking things up mid-exam.
There is no single “passing” score on this platform. The BACB does not publish the exact passing score for the real RBT exam (it uses a scaled scoring system). As a general guideline:
85%+ on practice exams — You are well-prepared for the real exam
Below 70% — Review the corresponding module before moving on
70–79% — You have a foundation; focus on the questions you missed
80%+ — Strong. Keep practicing to build consistency
